Single Phase Energy Meter – RL78/I1C

Overview

The AS044 – Single phase energy meter demo uses RL78/I1C -Ultra-low Power Microcontrollers for High-end Smart Electricity Meter which consists of a 10W isolated multi-channel AC-DC flyback converter, which has a special requirement to pass the magnetic tampering using an iron dust core and can operate at 450V AC. Users can set various AC input and load conditions to measure the error percentage with a Smart DLMS based 1-phase energy meter solution, where communication with the meter through DLMS can also be observed.

Capabilities

Set the different ranges of input AC supply with the power factor and supply frequency being constant.
- Voltage ranging from 170V to 240V.
- Current ranging from 3A to 20A.
Set the calibration operation to be performed.
- Phase Line
- Neutral Line
Observe the test result in the form of parameters and the waveform in the corresponding tile.

Comprises the Renesas AS044 1-phase energy meter simulation kit.
To validate the calibration for different ranges of AC input for Phase and Neutral line connections.
Observe the calibration output in the form of graph to see the pass/fail status.
Camera to capture Live feed data monitored in the energy meter display.
