Outdoor Air Quality Sensor – Quick Connect

Overview

This combination of the QuickConnect Beginners Kit demonstrates the “sensor mode operation” functionality, making use of the RA series MCU (RA6E2) along with the below sensor chips, in combination with the software:

  1. HS4001 (Temperature and Humidity)
  2. ZMOD4510 (Ozone Concentration and Fast Air Quality Index (FAQI); and
  3. DA16600 (Wi-Fi module)

Capabilities

  1. Measuring temperature and humidity values using the HS4001 PMOD Sensor.
  2. Measuring ozone concentration and FAQI using the ZMOD4510 PMOD sensor.
  3. Data sampling and publishing via the AWS MQTT server.
  4. Subscribe to the MQTT server and display metrics on the LiveBench.
  5. Live graph plots of the metrics, viz., temperature, humidity, ozone concentration, and FAQI.
  6. Live video feed of the test setup.

Features

  1. Evaluate the board connected through a power supply and with different sensor mode operations.
  2. Vary the ozone concentration by blowing hot air and using a humidifier.
  3. Vary the ambient temperature using heating coils and an air blower.
  4. Vary the humidity level using a humidifier.
  5. Decontamination of the setup using an air blower.
