Overview

The Renesas QCIOT TrailCam System is a state-of-the-art imaging solution designed for precise motion detection and intelligent monitoring. Built around the RZV2L processor, the TrailCam utilizes advanced AI capabilities to deliver fast and accurate image processing without requiring internet connectivity.

Equipped with RA2E1 FPB, an infrared (PIR) motion sensor, RZboard and optimized for field deployment, the TrailCam operates as a standalone solution, making it ideal for applications like wildlife observation, security, and remote monitoring. Its robust design ensures reliability in diverse environments, while the LiveBench evaluation platform provides a seamless way to test and validate the system’s performance.

Capabilities

Real-Time Image Capture and Monitoring:
Users can evaluate the TrailCam’s response time and accuracy in capturing images upon PIR sensor activation.
AI Accuracy Testing:
Assess the system’s ability to classify and process captured images with its onboard AI accelerator.

Analyze logs and metrics provided by the CLI and LiveBench interface for deeper insights into system reliability.
