What is Static Random Access Memory (SRAM)?

SRAM (Static Random Access Memory) is a type of volatile memory that retains data as long as power is supplied but does not require refreshing like DRAM. It is faster and more power-efficient, making it suitable for cache memory in processors and embedded systems.
